Recently we hosted a French couple who had been helping improve rice yields on tiny islands near Madagascar! She was a Hydrology expert and he was an organic farming expert. This couple were also WWOOFing (World Wide Opportunities on Organic Farms) around Australia. Some organizations ask you to pay towards your board and others are happy to provide accommodation. Some even pay for your air flights too. Wouldn't this be one of the most rewarding times in your life? to an enthusiastic group of students in another country for a few hours a day and being able to travel around for the rest of the week. Some countries require you to have formal qualifications so you may need to study for a few weeks first. Some language schools even find you jobs overseas.
